We just love to be ‘active’. Combining stay-at-home mum duties, 2 children each, co-writing a cookbook, a couple of other businesses thrown in for good measure, running and exercising is like oxygen. We know to succeed and last through the day we just need to do it.
At times it doesn’t look pretty, it can be early and it can be late & living in North Queensland it can be downright sweaty!!
Active isn’t all about running and exercising at the gym – it’s about getting in the pool, its about walking, its about bouncing on the tramp' with children(regardless of how that makes our stomachs feel) You may have noticed we are 'planners' & 'organised kinda mums' so we do try and plan a day in advance so we can get our 'hit'. However we like to keep it real: with children, work, life and partners it doesn't always roll like we want it to, so we keep on moving toward tomorrow!
Making this time for ourselves is super important – not only the health benefits that goes without saying but it does teach our children a great ethos as well.
